Watchmaking with Omega

November 5, 2014

Last week, Westime La Jolla and Omega co-hosted a dinner by the sea and a first look to Omega’s newest and only truly anti-magnetic timepiece. Dinner at La Jolla’s Marine Room, which included Maine lobster tail and center cut Angus filet mignon, was followed by Omega President Gregory Swift presenting an anti-magnetic demonstration that showed the effects that magnetism has on everyday life and how their newest timepiece counters that. In addition, Westime’s VIP guests were given a lesson on how to assemble and disassemble Omega’s exclusive in-house manufactured movement. At the end of the evening, guests were invited to keep their watchmaking jackets, loupes and tool kits as well as special gifts from Omega and Westime.
