Ulysse Nardin Deep Dive
Very robust, very functional, very technical, very sporty: introducing the remarkable new hero piece of the iconic Ulysse Nardin DIVER Collection — a resolutely masculine, highly reliable professional diving instrument and an exceptionally bold sports watch, loaded with unprecedented technical specs, including a helium escape valve and water resistance to 1,000 metres.
The Look is Stark Yet Shark
15 hammerhead sharks adorn the dial; another is stamped on the caseback; a bright red one swims on the side of the crown guard; and another decorates the dial counter. Destined for fans of active leisure and all water sports, the Diver Deep Dive will especially appeal to men looking for a timepiece that is striking looking but not fragile, that they can wear even when things get very intense.
Boundless expanses, unfathomable depths… The oceans of the world have fascinated mankind on every continent from time immemorial. And today, impressive reefs and the colorful world of aquatic plant and animal life entice people into voyages of discovery beneath the surface.
The Patravi ScubaTec is a watch made for diving and underwater exploration of every kind. In a sturdy case with blue or red highlights and sporty functions, the Patravi ScubaTec is the perfect companion in or out of the water. The Patravi ScubaTec is imbued with passion for the sea, down to the tiniest detail. To help protect the threatened manta ray, watch manufacturer Carl F. Bucherer sponsors the Manta Trust charitable organization. As a sign of the company's commitment, two of these impressive creatures are engraved on the back of the Patravi ScubaTec case.
A magnificent example of a tool watch and symbol of adventure, the Pelagos is one of the most complete traditional mechanical divers’ watches available today. Waterproof to 500m (1,640 ft), the Pelagos is fitted with TUDOR Manufacture Calibre. It is now available in a new “left-handed” version.
The hands of the Pelagos, particularly the hour hand with its characteristic square tip, allow the wearer to distinguish it from the minute hand, at a glance. Known in collectors’ circles as “snowflake”, this feature is emblematic of TUDOR divers’ watches from 1969 onwards. The ceramic disc of the titanium unidirectional rotating bezel features luminous markers that allow for all information to be read even in extreme conditions of low visibility.
The Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5612
The Pelagos is powered with the new TUDOR Manufacture Calibre MT5612 movement, providing impressive autonomy. Its power reserve of approximately 70 hours means that its wearer can, for example, take off the watch on Friday evening and put it on again on Monday morning without having to wind it. In addition to the hour, minute and central second functions, it provides an instant date display visible through an aperture positioned at 3 o’clock.
Beating to a frequency of 28,800 beats/hour or 4Hz, this movement is regulated by a variable inertia oscillator with silicon balance spring, held in place by a traversing bridge fixed at both sides to improve resistance to shocks and vibrations. Its self-winding system is bidirectional. The movement is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
Exploring the dark side of the ocean, OMEGA has evolved its ceramic expertise to produce the Seamaster Planet Ocean “Deep Black”. This remarkable 45.5 mm timepiece is the combination of a GMT model and a diving watch. It is coloured totally black to represent the ocean at a depth of 300 m. The glossy and brushed casebody has been crafted from a single block of ceramic, the same material used for the unidirectional bezel and the dial with Arabic numerals.
The Planet Ocean “Deep Black” is water-resistant to 60 bar (600 meters) and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre 8906. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).
Power, functionality and cool, contemporary style define Breitling’s Superocean Automatic collection: tool watches for the active, modern diver.
