Pelagos FXD GMT

$4,700.00

Crafted to meet the exacting demands of the French Naval Aviation, the TUDOR Pelagos FXD GMT is a watch of purpose and precision. Its 42mm satin-brushed titanium case is not only robust but light, engineered with fixed strap bars that echo TUDOR’s commitment to durability. The matte black dial offers an immediate sense of functionality, contrasted by beige-painted hour markers and an orange lacquer GMT hand, designed for superior legibility. A bidirectional 24-hour bezel in titanium with a black ceramic insert adds a sleek but rugged touch, perfect for professionals operating across time zones. At its core, the MT5652-U Manufacture Calibre offers COSC and METAS certifications, a self-winding movement, and a substantial 65-hour power reserve. Waterproof up to 200m, this piece is built for missions—above and below sea level.

HANS WILSDORF'S INTUITION

HANS WILSDORF'S INTUITION

“For some years now, I have been considering the idea of making a watch that our agents could sell at a more modest price than our Rolex watches, and yet one that would attain the standard of dependability for which Rolex is famous. I decided to form a separate company, with the object of making and marketing this new watch. It is called the TUDOR watch company.”

Brand Heritage

BIRTH OF THE BRAND

BIRTH OF THE BRAND

In February 1926, Hans Wilsdor had the trademark "The Tudor" registered and started making watches bearing that signature on the dial. Just after the Second World War, Hans Wilsdorf knew that the time had come to expand and give the brand a proper identity of its own. On 6 March 1946, he created "Montres TUDOR S.A.", specializing in models for both men and women. Rolex would guarantee the technical, aesthetic and functional characteristics, along with the distribution and after-sales service.
