Bold, extremely robust and shock resistant, the Avenger Chronograph 45 Night Mission combines precision with a powerful design in a lightweight case. As a true Breitling Avenger, it can be used wearing gloves and offers unrivalled safety and reliability to any airborne adventurer. The Night Mission interpretation of the Avenger Chronograph 45 features a sturdy 45mm DLC-coated titanium case, black or khaki dial and a matching black or khaki military leather strap that fits either a DLC-coated stainless-steel pin buckle or folding clasp. Its specific Arabic numerals recall the stenciled numbers used on the decks of aircraft carriers. Breitling Watches Brand History

Léon Breitling focused on chronographs, which were increasingly in demand at the time for industrial, military, and scientific applications as well as for athletic organizations. In 1889, Léon Breitling was granted a patent for a simplified model, which distinguished itself from its competitors through its sleek design, uncomplicated manufacturing process, and straightforward maintenance. Léon Breitling passed away in 1914 and his son Gaston took over the family business. He had inherited his father’s pioneering spirit, innovative flair, and an insatiable passion for chronographs, which he demonstrated in 1915 with the launch of one of the world’s first wrist chronographs with a separate push-piece above the watch crown.
