Production for the DB25L Milky Way is limited to 1 piece in 2017. Its functions include hours, minutes, and a spherical moon-phase at 12 o'clock. Power reserve is located on the case back. The movement is mechanical caliber with manual winding. When adjusting, setting the spherical moon-phase and the time by means of the crown (3 positions). There are 286 parts with 29 jewels. The diameter of the caliber measures to 30 mm. Power reserve up to 6 days, ensured by a self-regulating twin barrel. Technical features include silicon annular balance encircled by a white gold ring, "De Bethune" balance-spring with flat terminal curve, and a silicon escape wheel. This special timepiece also features a Spherical moon-phase indicator with precision of one lunar day every 122 years and a triple pare-chut shock-absorbing system. Frequency is 28,800 vibrations per hour. Adornment features plate and barrel bridge cover in mirror-polished steel, hand snailed barrels, and hand-polished chamfered steel parts. Hours and minutes hands are polished in rose gold. Spherical moon-phase indication in palladium and flamed-blued steel with an accuracy of one lunar day every 122 years at 12 o'clock. The dial has De Bethune star-studded sky in blued and polished titanium with white gold stars pin, joined by hand Milky Way patterns produced by micro laser striking gilded with 24 carats gold leafs. The case material is platinum set with 66 baguette-cut diamonds. The diameter of the case is 44.6 mm and the thickness is 11.3 mm. Lugs are integrated and hollowed. Sapphire crystal (1800 Vickers hardness), with double anti-reflective coating. The strap is extra-supple alligator skin with alligator padding. Buckle and ardillon are in platinum.
