Elegance meets precision in the TUDOR BLACK BAY 31 S&G, M79603-0008. The 31mm 316L steel case, finished with both polish and satin, encases the COSC-certified Manufacture Calibre MT5201. This self-winding mechanical movement, with a bidirectional rotor system, showcases integrated construction and a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. The screw-down winding crown, capped with a 0.1mm yellow gold cap and adorned with the TUDOR rose, ensures water resistance up to 100m (330 ft). The champagne-colored dial features diamond hour markers, complemented by a fixed steel bezel covered with a 0.3mm yellow gold cap. Safeguarded by a flat sapphire crystal, the timepiece's bracelet harmoniously blends yellow gold center links at 6 and 12 o’clock with remaining steel links, all covered by a 0.2mm yellow gold cap. The "T-fit" folding clasp with a safety catch, showcasing a yellow gold logo, completes this exquisite composition.

HANS WILSDORF'S INTUITION

HANS WILSDORF'S INTUITION

“For some years now, I have been considering the idea of making a watch that our agents could sell at a more modest price than our Rolex watches, and yet one that would attain the standard of dependability for which Rolex is famous. I decided to form a separate company, with the object of making and marketing this new watch. It is called the TUDOR watch company.”

Brand Heritage

BIRTH OF THE BRAND

BIRTH OF THE BRAND

In February 1926, Hans Wilsdor had the trademark "The Tudor" registered and started making watches bearing that signature on the dial. Just after the Second World War, Hans Wilsdorf knew that the time had come to expand and give the brand a proper identity of its own. On 6 March 1946, he created "Montres TUDOR S.A.", specializing in models for both men and women. Rolex would guarantee the technical, aesthetic and functional characteristics, along with the distribution and after-sales service.
