$6.25 Million Raised at Westime Charity Night

$6.25 Million Raised For After-School All-Stars At The 8th Annual Arnold Schwarzenegger – Westime Charity Night

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (September 23, 2021) – On Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, After-School All-Stars Founder Arnold Schwarzenegger and Westime Founder John Simonian co-hosted an outdoor charity event to raise funds for the After-School All-Stars (ASAS) national children’s charity. The eighth annual edition of the Arnold Schwarzenegger – Westime Charity Night saw a smaller than usual group of supporters come together on the grounds of Mr. Schwarzenegger’s Los Angeles home, but by the end of the night they succeeded to raise $6.25 million for the charity—a record amount for the event. Since the Westime Charity Night’s inception in 2013, it has raised $19 million for ASAS.

Westime, the luxury watch and jewelry retailer led by John and Greg Simonian, sponsored the Western-themed event, which helps enable ASAS to provide free, comprehensive in-person and virtual programs for low-income, underserved students across the nation year-round. “Our communities have fragile safety nets during the best of times, and any semblance of security evaporated with the progression of Covid-19,” Mr. Schwarzenegger and Mr. Simonian shared in a statement.  “When the pandemic hit, we pivoted as an organization to provide basic, essential needs to students, staff, and families.”

The event followed Los Angeles County’s health and safety protocols for outdoor gatherings, including proof of vaccination and mask requirements for all vendors, proof of vaccination status for all guests, and submission of timely antigen or PCR test results for all guests.

The evening included tasting stations, games, a Henry Jacques perfume experience, and a special presentation about the charity’s impactful work. American Ninja Warrior personality Matt Iseman took to the stage to fire up the audience for a live auction as well as a pledge commitment, which pushed the night’s fundraising into new territory.

The event concluded with the awarding of luxury watches donated by Westime and its partners:  Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet, Hublot, Bulgari, Girard-Perregaux, Breitling, Ulysse Nardin and Dior.
