SEVEN RECORDS IN SEVEN YEARS
Bvlgari presents its seventh world record, the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar: the slimmest perpetual calendar watch on the market, featuring a total thickness of just 5.80 mm. The development of the 2.75 mm BVL 305 caliber required the movement design engineers of the Manufacture in Le Sentier to devise new solutions, such as the use of a micro-rotor and the optimal use of the space between the 408 components, without reducing their dimensions.
TIME MASTERED WITH EXTREME FINESSE
Available in two variations, the new Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar not only comes in the signature titanium interpretation, like all of Bvlgari’s world record holders, but also in a platinum version with alligator bracelet.
Symbolizing mankind’s relationship with time, this horological complication is imbued with a sense of magic, and the Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendars offers a talented reinterpretation by merging watchmaking excellence and Italian aesthetic sensitivity. TADAO ANDO INTERPRETS OCTO FINISSIMO
Expressing the concept of time through the purest symbolism, Bvlgari and Japanese architect Tadao Ando have come together to create the second edition of the Octo Finissimo Tadao Ando limited series.
Focusing on the theme of time based on the Japanese “Mikazuki” concept – representing the crescent moon and the transitory nature of time – Tadao Ando introduces two essential graphic elements in Octo Finissimo’s dial: a special pattern evoking the time spiral and the gold crescent moon positioned at 5 o’clock. Tadao Ando’s essential style meets the Octo Finissimo’s pure shape, in an unprecedented interpretation of the path of time.
