1926 36mm Steel Case

Ref: M91451-0011

The TUDOR 1926 M91451-0011 is a captivating blend of refinement and precision. Nestled within its 36mm polished steel case is a pristine white diamond-set dial. Driven by the self-winding Calibre T601, it boasts a robust 38-hour power reserve. The steel screw-down winding crown, adorned with the TUDOR logo, ensures water resistance up to 100m. Enhancing its allure, the smooth steel bezel features a polished finish, delicately veiled by a 0.3mm rose gold cap. The embossed white dial, with a domed design, showcases gold hour markers and hands, accompanied by a date window at 3 o'clock. Completing the ensemble is a bracelet with rose gold center-links at 6 and 12 o'clock, harmonized with steel links under 0.2mm rose gold caps. This timepiece is an epitome of timeless sophistication.

“For some years now, I have been considering the idea of making a watch that our agents could sell at a more modest price than our Rolex watches, and yet one that would attain the standard of dependability for which Rolex is famous. I decided to form a separate company, with the object of making and marketing this new watch. It is called the TUDOR watch company.”

H. Wilsdorf

Brand Heritage

In February 1926, Hans Wilsdor had the trademark "The Tudor" registered and started making watches bearing that signature on the dial. Just after the Second World War, Hans Wilsdorf knew that the time had come to expand and give the brand a proper identity of its own. On 6 March 1946, he created "Montres TUDOR S.A.", specializing in models for both men and women. Rolex would guarantee the technical, aesthetic and functional characteristics, along with the distribution and after-sales service.
