The TUDOR BLACK BAY 31 S&G, M79613-0005, is an exquisite timepiece combining elegance and precision. The 31mm polished and satin-finished steel case houses the COSC-certified Manufacture Calibre MT5201, a self-winding mechanical movement with a bidirectional rotor system. With a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, this watch ensures reliability. The screw-down winding crown, featuring the TUDOR rose and covered by a 0.1mm yellow gold cap, guarantees water resistance up to 100m (330 ft). The fixed steel bezel, adorned with a 0.3mm yellow gold cap and set with diamonds, adds a touch of glamour to the black dial. Completing the luxurious ensemble is a bracelet with yellow gold center links at 6 and 12 o’clock, and remaining steel links covered by a 0.2mm yellow gold cap. The "T-fit" folding clasp, with a logo made of yellow gold, secures the watch with sophistication.

HANS WILSDORF'S INTUITION

HANS WILSDORF'S INTUITION

“For some years now, I have been considering the idea of making a watch that our agents could sell at a more modest price than our Rolex watches, and yet one that would attain the standard of dependability for which Rolex is famous. I decided to form a separate company, with the object of making and marketing this new watch. It is called the TUDOR watch company.”

Brand Heritage

BIRTH OF THE BRAND

BIRTH OF THE BRAND

In February 1926, Hans Wilsdor had the trademark "The Tudor" registered and started making watches bearing that signature on the dial. Just after the Second World War, Hans Wilsdorf knew that the time had come to expand and give the brand a proper identity of its own. On 6 March 1946, he created "Montres TUDOR S.A.", specializing in models for both men and women. Rolex would guarantee the technical, aesthetic and functional characteristics, along with the distribution and after-sales service.
