The Henry Jacques Beverly Hills boutique, designed by Artistic Director Christophe Tollemer, evokes the refined spirit of a classical 19th-century French apartment, where traditional craftsmanship meets modern elegance for a timeless aesthetic. Facing the pedestrian-only cobblestone courtyard of Two Rodeo on Rodeo Drive, the boutique’s large windows offer a glimpse into its serene interior, where old oak wood walls, chevron-patterned flooring, and a matte gold ceiling adorned with black cabochons and Porta Romana’s Bianca chandelier create the ambiance of a private residence. A striking Corian “catwalk” leads to the boutique’s centerpiece, the illuminated Corian perfume organ, flanked by Bergère 1930 armchairs and symmetrical niches displaying hand-blown crystal flacons from the Les Classiques collection. The experience continues into an intimate VIP room appointed with velvet-upholstered Louis XVI–style seating, a natural cord rug, Holland & Sherry wool curtains with green leather appliqués, and lithographs by Aki Kuroda from Galerie Maeght in Paris. Designed as a discreet sanctuary, the boutique invites clients to discover fragrances at their own pace, revealing hidden cabinets, secret drawers, and a double-sided leather display chest that protects and unveils Henry Jacques’ masterpieces over time and through repeat visits.

Founded nearly half a century ago near Grasse, France, Parfums Henry Jacques established itself as a bespoke house known among connoisseurs for its pure perfumes, essences hand-crafted exclusively with natural components that founder Henry Cremona personally sourced around the world. The company’s expansion into retail, via its own boutiques, began just six years ago.

With the opening in July 2020 of the Henry Jacques Beverly Hills boutique, the independent company, still in the hands of its founding family, is sharing traditionally French hand-made perfumes derived from its library of nearly 3,000 in-house fragrance creations with a new audience. “For Henry Jacques, to arrive in Beverly Hills is like finally reaching a destination. Perfume lovers here have supported us for decades and have been longing for this opening. It is a true achievement,” says Anne-Lise Cremona, CEO of Henry Jacques and daughter of the founder. “On a personal level, it is a very powerful moment. I spent time in Beverly Hills as a young girl with my family, and thereafter, I dreamt of living and working in this land of freedom. So seeing such a magnificent Henry Jacques boutique in the country is truly emotional.”
