THE DIAL MANUFACTORY
The artistic faces of our watches are crafted at our very own dial manufactory.
Behind the glass walls of our manufactory building lies the soul of Glashütte Original: the elaborate production and careful assembly of thousands of delicate individual parts.
HOW ARE BLUED SCREWS MADE?
The tiny steel screws are first polished until glossy, then heated to approx. 290°C. This sees them change colour from grey to red to cornflower blue.
