Ulysse Nardin Unveils Freak X Gumball 3000 Edition 2

Equal parts supercar rally and rolling party, the annual Gumball 3000 rally will blast its way from Miami to Mexico City over seven days this June. In celebration of the 27th anniversary of the rally, Ulysse Nardin debuts a new 150-piece limited edition of its iconic Freak.

When it was launched in 2001, the Freak redefined the rules of watchmaking—no hands, no dial, no crown. The movement itself is the display of time.

The Freak X Gumball 3000 Edition 2 echoes the audacious spirit of the rally. Its bold black and orange palette draws from Gumball 3000’s instantly recognizable codes, translating a culture of speed, individuality and forward momentum into a distinctly high-tech horological expression. At its heart lies an hour disc in Carbonium®, an ultra-high performance material crafted from ultra-light carbon fiber, upcycled from the aerospace industry.

The self-winding caliber featuring a flying carrousel is housed in a 43mm titanium case treated with black PVD. Customers receive the watch with two rubber straps, in orange and black.
