Hublot’s Big Bang Collection gets its first integrated bracelet, a new Meca-10 manufacture movement, and a high-tech red ceramic case.
For the LVMH Watch Week in Dubai, Hublot has released an array of exciting new timepieces, including this trio of Big Bangs: The Big Bang Unico Integral, the Spirit of Big Bang Meca-10, and the Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic.
Hublot Big Bang Unico Integral
Some big news for the Hublot Big Bang during LVMH Watch Week was the presentation of the collection’s first tailored and integrated bracelet. Fifteen years after the collection’s creation, the Hublot Big Bang now includes an integrated bracelet with the first link fused directly to the case. This new feature required a complete redesign of the case to accommodate the new bracelet to create the most comfortable fit on the skin. The bracelet features one central link and two lateral ones that follow the design codes of the case.
All Black, Titanium And King Gold
To celebrate this new bracelet, Hublot has unveiled three new models: One in black ceramic, another in titanium, and a third in King Gold. All three models are almost identical to the Big Bang 42mm models, except for new indexes that replace the Arabic numerals. A keen observer will also notice that the pushers have returned to the initial 2005 design. It is indeed these pushers that inspired the design of the bracelet, so it made sense to bring them back. The all-black ceramic version is limited to 500 pieces, while the other two editions are not limited.
Hublot Big Bang Spirit Of Big Bang Meca-10
The latest announcement for the Spirit of Big Bang Meca-10 was the reworking of its famous Meca-10 manufacture movement, which now combines a 10-day power reserve with the emblematic barrel design of the Hublot Spirit of Big Bang 45mm collection. “As the first fusion between our popular Meca-10 caliber manufacture and the iconic Spirit of Big Bang design, this new watch—with an extraordinary power reserve of 10 days that is displayed in an innovative way—completes a collection that is gaining importance at Hublot,” shared Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO Hublot.
High-performance display
The mesmerizing, high-performance, manual-winding caliber HUB1233 is on full display through the front sapphire crystal, creating a very technical-looking dial. This new movement is showcased in three new models and comes in a choice of black ceramic, King Gold, or titanium. All three wristwatches come in 45mm cases that include six H-shaped titanium screws and a water-resistance to 50 meter.
Hublot Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic
Last, but not least, is the Hublot Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic with its bright red ceramic case. In 2018, Hublot unveiled the world’s first-ever brightly colored high-tech ceramic. Previous to this, ceramic watch cases had only been successfully crafted in black or white. This world-exclusive was so complex, in terms of its make-up and the way it was machined, that it resulted in three patents. The secret was to find the right balance between temperature and pressure to allow the red pigments to keep all their color.
All The Essential Details About the Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic
The Hublot Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic comes in a 45mm polished red ceramic case with a water-resistance of 30 meters. It is powered by the brand’s HUB9011 manual-winding, skeleton movement showcasing the seven series-coupled barrels and featuring a power reserve display roll on the dial side of the watch. The movement includes red touches to complement the red ceramic case and offer a highly technical, sporty, and eye-catching timepiece.
