Protected by seven patents, HYT watches combine science, technology and haute horlogerie in a mechanism built around two flexible bellows at 6 o’clock, connected to each end of a glass capillary tube. One bellow pushes a colored liquid, the other a transparent one; because the two fluids are immiscible, the repulsive force between their molecules creates a crisp meniscus—a moving boundary that literally becomes the hour hand as it glides around the dial’s periphery. This mesmerizing dance of fluid is a component within caliber 501-CM, complete with more traditional bead-blasted and satin-finished components.
The new S1 Orange employs color to give its most ergonomic watch a distinct personality. Here, the satin-finished titanium case wears a belt of orange ceramic-coated trim. Black liquid gliding through the capillary stands out like a circuit line against the orange curbs. The dial decals and hands receive orange accents, as do the luminous markings that glow in the dark, and the watch’s quick-change rubber strap.
HYT considers the S1 Orange a “Millésime Edition,” meaning it will only be produced between April 2026 and April 2027, after which no further examples will be manufactured.

HYT
HYT was born of a question. Time flows and only gains meaning through content, so why limit its measurement to indicating the now in splendid isolation, with needle-sharp hands or fleeting digital displays? determined that its rebellion should make statements and waves, a multi-disciplinary think-tank set out to create timepieces that visibly connect the past, present, and future. You can find HYT watches in our retail boutique locations in Miami, Hollywood LA, Beverly Hill Rodeo Drive and La Jolla (San Diego).
