Norqain’s New Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite is the Lightest Norqain Watch to Date

Innovative case and movement materials are key to producing an extreme strength-to-weight ratio.

Weighing just 45 grams, the Wild ONE Skeleton X-Lite limited edition becomes the brand’s lightest watch. This was accomplished by developing more than 30 components in ultra-light materials like titanium, aluminum, NORTEQ carbon fiber, and a new proprietary carbon fiber composite called X-Lite. The 41mm case alone is comprised of black NORTEQ, rubber shock absorbers, an X-Lite casing ring, DLC titanium container and an aluminum caseback. The story of lightness continues through the watch—the NORTEQ crown has a rubber grip, and the dial, hands and markers are highly skeletonized.

The new 200-piece limited edition is powered by a new movement, Norqain’s chronometer-certified automatic 4K Manufacture Calibre. Its bridges and rotor are sculpted into shapes inspired by mountain peaks. Finally the X-Lite timepiece introduces a new strap concept; a perforated rubber upper layer with an interchangeable ultra-light stretch-band underneath, with sizing adjusted through interchangeable bands. “The wildly innovative Wild One Skeleton X-Lite Limited Edition marks a major milestone for Norqain,” says founder and CEO Ben Küffer. “It brings high innovation, extreme lightness and extreme disruption to the category.”
